Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for all the love over the one year, eight months and two days since our Swearing-In Ceremony.
  • Special thanks to our friends in the TV Studio at N.C. A&T State University, producers of our "TRC Talk" public access show for Cable Channel 8. They’ve made three episodes available online. You can access links to the shows at our blog.
  • Speaking of A&T, join us next Tuesday for the panel discussion “Healing Via Truth and Reconciliation,” which will feature Joya, our communications director, as moderator, and Jill, our executive director, as a panelist. The university’s E. Gwynn Dance Company also will perform. See the related events section below for details.
  • One of the realities of healing via the truth and reconciliation model is that it costs money. We’re soliciting any and all fundraising ideas (or funds!) for covering the costs of an ultra accessible report to the community and our last months of operation. Contact us at [email protected] with ideas, donations, encouragement, etc.
  • Volunteer of the Week: Jerrod Smith of UNCG, who provided valuable assistance to our research team by transferring a 1979-era recording into a new millennium format. Thanks, Jerrod!
